The origins of sickness and their symptoms

The definitions of soul loss and spirit attachment above were given to assist the reader through the spiritual nature of the next chapters.

The intent of this writing is to shed light on the role of the soul, which is hugely underestimated in our wellbeing.

The soul interacts with the spiritual world. Although unseen by average people who cannot see their soul with their naked eyes, the soul is there with us, in us, always. Like our physical body, our soul has needs, demands, desires and wishes.

According to ancient beliefs, some of our stress may originate from our soul’s needs or demands. If the soul’s needs are not being addressed properly or at all, the soul can enter into depression or stress out and the worries from the soulcan cause sudden stress on the physical body without warning. In fact, the soul lives and has times of happiness, unhappiness, times for action, periods of awareness, and times that it has issues that need to be addressed. The physical body is the channel the soul uses through which to express itself.

When it becomes clear that some sicknesses, either diagnosed or unknown, are incurable after several vigorous treatments, the traditional healer’s belief is that it is only then wise to use all possible alternative medicines available in combinations. Having understood that the soul is a unique separate entity to be dealt with, in accordance with its unique spiritual laws, the spiritual gurus humbly advise adding an alternative way of getting better by treating ourselves wholely, due to the complex inter-relationship between the body, the mind and the soul. They believe that the cause of the illness may be linked to the patient’s soul or mind and emotions, which exert influence over the body so that proper care would address them as well as the physical for overall health.

Only then, perfect health becomes a reality.
